A recently completed oil painting portrait of Ms Carol Coles.  The artist said: “Ms Coles, who works in business in west London, is an old friend. While working on the painting, I did several preliminary pencil sketches. I liked one in particular and conceived the idea of mounting it alongside the painting itself as a pair. I hesitate to say it’s an original idea, but I don’t think I’ve seen it done before.” The two images were mounted together and framed by Isis Framing of Oxford. The 20” x 15” painting, which is not for sale, is in private ownership.
